Placement cell is an integral part of our institute. It is the platform for prospective teachers. This cell is the back bone of our Institute. Placement cell centrally handles the campus placement of prospective teachers.

The B.Ed. program is a professional course where graduates and postgraduates from different fields are equipped with competencies for effective secondary school teaching. So, placement in the campus is an important area of this program.

The focus of campus placement cell of Sunrise Academy Management Society is not just employment but to enhance employability skills too. The institute has very meaningful relations with the various schools and enterprises.

Objectives

  1. To assist the students develop and clarify their academic and career interests.
  2. To stimulate the thinking of the students on current challenges of the teaching profession, i.e., stress management, mental health & hygiene, dealing with special children and behavioural problems of the students.
  3. To give practical experience to the students about the various educational settings.
  4. To conduct campus interviews to enable students to have opportunities in the college itself.
  5. To assist employees to achieve their various goals.

Activities

SAMS has a fully functional and dynamic placement cell to ensure that the students have a promising career. So this cell has numerous functionalities which are listed as follows:

  • Notice Board and alumni WhatsApp group is periodically updated.
  • Workshop/ talks on certain topics like problems in school mental health and hygiene, stress management, dealing with special children and various government policies.
  • To train the students for real teaching.
  • Upgradation of the students’ communication skills and personality development by inviting experts from outside for various seminars and classes.
  • To provide guidance material.
  • To prepare for teacher eligibility test.
