The institution runs the Bachelor of Education programme,which is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary level (classes IX-X) and senior secondary level (classes XI-XII).The course is of two years duration .This programme is recognised by NCTE and affiliated with Sri Dev Suman University,Tehri, Garhwal, Uttarakhand.


a) Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55%marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be per the rules of the Central govt./State government, whichever is applicable.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the course is made on the merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by Sri Dev Suman University,Tehri, Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Admission rules

  1. At the time of admission a student will have to pay all the Institute fees or dues. (If any)
  2. All students must take admission personally.
  3. All Admissions will be provisional and subject to confirmation by Principal and approval by the University.
  4. All students who have taken admission provisionally, due to non-availability of documents, etc., their admissions shall be cancelled for non-submission of documents within the stipulated time.
  5. Students taking provisional admission are required to pay half of the fees.
  6. Cancellation of admission and refund of fees as per the norms of Institute.

Certificates required to be produced at the time of admission to the Institute

  1. Statement of marks obtained on the qualifying examination of the Institute/ College.
  2. Passing Certificate (Entrance Exam).
  3. Proof of Date of Birth.
  4. Transfer / Leaving Certificate of the college last attended.
  5. Migration Certificate.
  6. Affidavit regarding Gap in Education (If applicable).
  7. Affidavit regarding the change in name in the original (If applicable).
  8. Cast Certificate (If applicable).
  9. Domicile Certificate (If applicable).
  10. Students must submit two Identity Card size photographs.

FEES –Year 2021-23, 2022-24

Fee is charged as per SDS University norms.

Students under State Seats-42,000 INR total

Students under Management Seats-55,000 INR total

Examination fee as may be charged by the university.
